From live music to delicious food, our small rural town sizzles in the summer! Whether you are a local resident or visiting for the first time, you will notice an abundance of fresh local food in area restaurants, our local farmers market, and right here at the co-op! 

In places where grocery chains may be scarce or non-existent, co-ops like the VFC provide a reliable source of affordable, quality food while strengthening the local economy.

The co-op is democratically controlled by its owners through an owner-elected board of directors. This year, three seats are up for election. Learn more to submit your application.

Garden Ridge Ranch is the recipient of this year’s VFC Microloan. Owned and operated by Darci and Justin Daniels, along with their four young children, Garden Ridge Ranch is a family-run farm committed to raising grass-fed beef, pastured pork, and certified organic strawberries.
