In Mexico, St. Valentine’s Day is known as El Día del Amor y la Amistad, which translates to The Day of Love & Friendship. People celebrate the day with friends, enjoying a meal, a coffee or a drink. They might exchange small gifts, sweet treats and cards, or just hang out together. Couples might still exchange special gifts and have a “date night”, but others are not left out of the day. It’s a special day for everyone; couples, singles, family members, friends, co-workers, children, and pets.
It’s all about the love, and we love having you as shoppers and owners of the co-op, where everyone is welcome. Happy Valentine’s Day to all!
