Driftless Seed Supply, founded in 2023 by Cody Egan and Dylan Bruce, offers organic, region-specific seeds for Midwest farmers and gardeners. Focused on biodiversity, sustainability, and transparency, DSS grows 70% of their own seeds and collaborates with local farms. They provide resources for beginner gardeners and plan to expand their seed varieties, supporting a resilient local food system.

“I started with very little resources. I knew from the beginning that the only way this could get off the ground would be with the support from food co-ops in Minnesota and Wisconsin. Co-ops have been our biggest and most important customers since day one.”

This organic farm, restaurant, gift and coffee shop is run by the nuns who reside there. They donate 100% of proceeds to charity and also run a soup kitchen and food pantry on-site to help give local families access to nutritious, organic foods.
