Quick End of Winter Kitchen Refresh
Take an hour or two to get your kitchen ready for the freshness of Spring.
1. Remove all objects from countertops and do a full cleaning. Store things that aren’t being used. Wipe down items that will be going back on the countertop. Clean out toaster/toaster oven.
2. Remove everything from the fridge and throw out anything that is outdated, moldy, hasn’t been touched in 6 months, or just looks unappealing. Wipe down shelves and drawers and replace only good clean food items.
3. Check the freezer and defrost if necessary. Throw away freezer burned or old items. Make pet food with old meats and seafood (no bones).
4. Clean out cupboards and pantries and throw away outdated items, and donate any other items that you don’t think you’ll use.
