Measure Syrup & Honey Without a Mess

When using honey or syrup in a recipe, measure oil first, then the sticky stuff, and it won’t be so sticky. If your recipe doesn’t call for oil, use a spray oil or oil mister to lightly coat the measuring cup, and honey and syrups will slide right out. You can use a rubber or silicone spatula to get everything out of the cup if necessary. You can also dip the spatula in oil or give it a light spray.
